A Young Designer

Currently in Grade 11 at ICL Academy, Kaylee Barker started designing outfits for her dolls made from Victoria's Secret paper in less than 2 minutes when she was only 4 years old. She simply loves to draw and would spend hours doing so. Sometimes, she would hide under her blanket at bedtime to draw using a flashlight for light so her mother would not find out that she is still awake. Eventually, Kaylee’s mother saw her daughter’s potential and invested in her talent.

Other Talents

Kaylee also has other talents, particularly in singing and athletics. She ran in middle school as a member of Kids CrossFit and competed in the kids grid in a CrossFit gym when she was around 9 to 11/12 years old. Kaylee eventually gave up track and kids' CrossFit and found a passion for tennis, for which she currently undergoes training. The passion for art is still alive, and Kaylee has shown interest in studying at the Parsons School of Design in NYC after she graduates from high school.
